We are pleased to have released NNCleanup v1.6.0. This is a smaller feature release, which means the inpainting models are the same as in v1.5.0. That said, it does feature a new processing mode called “Automatic”. This makes the whole region selection/bounding box definition fully automatic. Just input your material and an alpha channel into the matte input and the node calculates the processing region itself.
There is also a new channel selection knob, meaning you can now define what channels to inpaint. This is most often RGB, but if you have CG renders, it could be other AOV/Lightgroups, or even “all” channels/layers. Just know that the models are trained on “normal” images, so data channels like P, N and depth etc. doesn’t work that well. You are probably better off using a normal Nuke Inpaint node for those.
We’ve also added the possibility to automatically process using the GPU index that was specified on the Nuke batch render command line (using the –gpu parameter). Nuke16.1 and Nuke17.0 are now supported as well on all platforms.
Next up are some cool additions to the NNFlowVector family, as well as a completely new product. 🙂
Cheers,
David
